Founded by Pastor Yvonne Brooks, the Assistant Pastor to her husband, Bishop Melvin A. Brooks at the New Jerusalem Apostolic Church, Aston Cross, Birmingham, a thriving church that thinks outside of the box and operates in the gifts of the Apostles.
The WOMEN OF PURPOSE MINISTRY was first incepted in 1995 and is a ministry to women aiming to empower and equip them for their purpose.
WOMEN OF PURPOSE is based in the heart of Birmingham, Christian women from all backgrounds benefit from the regular events the ministry holds, which includes a dynamic yearly conference titled Keys to the Kingdom.
To sharpen and empower Christian women in spiritual growth, who have a passion and desire to pursue their God–given purpose.
To motivate, equip and empower women to spiritual growth, emotional wholeness and clarity of purpose.
Proclaim the truth of the gospel.
Challenge women to live above their circumstances.
To inform, educate and equip by holding conferences, seminars and social events that will motivate and empower women.
That the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and on the third day he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven according to the scriptures. (1 Tim. 3:16)

Faith is acting on the Word of God. (Rom. 10:17)
In repentance and water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38)
In the indwelling of, and baptism in, the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4)
In divine healing the restoration of health to those who believe and act on truths written in God’s word. We further believe that Jesus is our healer, and by His stripes we are already healed. (Isaiah 53: 5)
Tithes and offerings should be freely given to the local church, the place where God has called you to receive his Word as based on scripture. (Mal.3: 10)
